Dear Magnavision/Studio World,

Would it be possible to release the 2-disc DVD in regular packaging, aside from the "3D" edition. That edition currently available in local stores is so bulky to store, and quite frankly, not attractive at all. And besides, it's not consistent with the packaging of previous Harry Potter titles.

Thank you.

My advice on this dilemma:

Take it out of the "3D" packaging. Once you pull it out, it's a separate, sealed, regular 2-Disc copy of the movie in a keep case, consistent with the packaging of the previous titles in the series. No slipcase, but the R3 HP III and HP V that I bought both didn't have slipcases, either:

As for the "3D" packaging, I gave it to our dog:

Hahaha! Good dog!

I just find it such a waste to dispose of the "3D" packaging. Would the DVD have been cheaper had Magna opted to just release a regular packaging?

Unlikely.  Most major releases by Magna are 895, especially with 2-discs version.

haha!  CUTE!!   Cheesy

I would have been happy w/ a simple 2-disc SE w/ slip instead of the crappy looking "3D" packaging.

I'm getting the R1 2-disc instead.

I was at Astro last Friday and I didn't see any HP6 blu-ray there.  The U.S. BD release is set for Dec 8 though.  I don't know about the local release...   Undecided

in my case my Harry Potter dvds (1-5) have slipcases... so I'm just wishing there will be a simple slipcased version  Grin
