Recommended writing speed when trying to back up original movies on dvd 9

Hello. Would just want to ask, what is the recommended speed when trying to back up original discs on a dual layer disc?
Because, when I tried to do back up for transformers 2 using dvd fab. It was successful, but upon testing by chapter, I noticed that some chapters freeze or hang up.
Should I burn it to a lower speed?
