DECEMBER 2009 SALE: 50% off on (All?) Sony Pictures Entertainment DVDs

Just as the 50% off Universal titles were being pulled out of Astrovision this afternoon, I saw that this time, all the SONY PICTURES ENTERTAINMENT titles now have the 50% OFF stickers!

So get you favorite Sony/Columbia/Tri-Star Releases at 50% Off!

(Does this mean Sony will also jump ship from Magnavision when the sale ends?)

Hopefully, Magnavision will keep the license.  Despite my complaints of Magnavision's sometimes high prices, they seem to be the one who knows what the buyers want by selling the biggest selection from their licensee's catalogue and selling special editions of titles that collectors wants.  Their local DVD9 replicator also allow them to sell older titles at prices that are affordable. 

Wonder if their acquiring the Warner license has anything to do with their losing their other license (like Universal).  Wala naman working anti-trust law sa atin...
