If seems like half of Ivory releases are ripoff of popular movies.  They have released a second batch of these, kasama na iyung Sunday School Musical.  I don't even feel the need to post them here.

Maybe you meant Smokin' Aces 2 instead. The first one was released a coupled of years ago (I believe I reported it way back).

Regarding Book of Eli, is there something special about the Bible it comes with? Like special printing or something?

It's probably Smokin' Aces 2.  I didn't pick it up, just saw it on the shelf.

The Bible packed with The Book of Eli is an off the shelf Bible from The Philippine Bible Society BUT Magnavision glued a nice slipcover over it (to match the DVD packaging). Paperback only. The case  for the DVD/Book is a fold-out cardboard case with velcro and straps to hold the Bible.  Pretty nice, given that it's just Php 150 over the regular version, it's worth it unless you are an agnostic/atheist/non-Christian (or don't care about the movie)

Nothing on the cover of the shrinkwrapped case says anything about The Book, and the Astro people also knows nothing about it's content.  For a while, I thought it's just might be a blank book, just for show.  Bought it anyway.  Post ko pics over the weekend...

the 2 disc book of eli dvd does not contain the animated short feature included in the R1 and blu ray editions. but it does however contain some other features seen only in blu ray..

The paper stock used for the Bible (included with the DVD) is of better quality than the one sold at National Bookstore for Php 165.  Though the Php 390 Good News Bible available at St. Paul's Bookstore is much better (hardcover, thin Bible paper).

Didn't see this one, any idea if the discs come in separate Amaray and Bluray cases, before being housed in a Viva box (I presume)?  If only this is a better movie, I would have bought such a package...

Hopefully, Viva would continue this kind of bundle, especially with Disney/Pixar animation...
