Hi guys! Just want to know what movie organizer/catalog you use to keep track of your movie collection. I tried Movienizer and it was great. But since they recently upgraded and you need to pay for for a a registered copy, I switched to Personal Video Database. It's free and good as well. Not as good as Movienizer but perfect for a freeware. Smiley

Are there any suggestions of other good organizers out there?

Look for EMDB.  E stands for Eric, the developer of the software.  It's free, but if you want to change the E to suit your name, you'll have to pay.  It's a nice program.

I got a free software with some features that are useful. Drag and drop lang yung movie then kukuha na info sa IMDB.

OK sana yung mga programs na may link sa imdb, pero you still have to change some information.  R1 information lang kasi ang nakalagay doon usually.  Pag R3 na, babaguhin mo na, like language, subtitles, etc.

For me it's just ok kasi puro mkv file naman ang collection ko. Kesa ilalagay ko pa sa excel eh eto puwede export para may soft copy ako. Nakikita din ang country of origin ng movie sa software na gamit ko.

Have already listed 20% of my orig collection to Movie Collector Pro (Collectorz). Since the file was "downloaded" via bittorent, there are some 'hiccups' with the app. As sson as I'm done listing my collection, I will download the paid version to get full use of the features especially the export to iphone.

Recently downloaded the moviekeeper app to try it out...
Good: You can customize almost everything so I can categorize the BDs which country it came from, when did I buy it, what is it's packaging (steelbook, digibook...)
BAD: Need to manually enter movie details, ie. runtime, director, rating, cover

Anyone who can recommend a similar app without the manual entry of movie details?

I'm using a DVD database software "DVD Profiler" to keep track of my current movie collection. It's very convenient, fast & easy to use. You can keep track both off-line & online. In future it will save you lots of time in checking & searching your whole collection. It's convenient & prevent headaches. Here are some actual screen shots taken from my profile:

You can also customize the look & apperance. Here's a different layout.

For more info on DVD Profiler:
http://www.invelos.com/

You can also upload your database to the Invelos server so that in case if any thing happen to your existing data, you can easily access & download your database to your computer or in the event you're using more than one computer then your second computer can download & sync with the info.

This database software is great way to protect & keep track all our beloved movie collections data. Smiley

With the DVD Profiler you can easily print out charts/graphs and also reports! Shocked

With report you can keep track your movie inventory & it has so many different report formats to choose from. As for the chart, it gives you statistic on your collection base on genre, studio, etc it's easy to see where your collection has the most number of movies. Smiley

Here are some samples:

Tried using DVD Profiler, maganda nga sya!!!  Very easy to use.  Kaya lang, you still need to purchase the registration key to fully utilize the program.  Sir PChin, ask ko lang, meron ba crack yung software nila?  So that I can maximize the use of their program without purchasing the reg key...hehehe Grin
