The Dina Bonnevie/Alfie Anido/Gabby Concepcion 1980 classic by Joey Gosiengfiao is now on DVD!

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Picture quality ranges from very good to poor - one short 5 minute segment is very faded with a greenish hue, but most of the film looks quite good for a film from this era. Unlike some of the other Regal Classic DVD releases, this does not look like it was mastered from an old videotape. But to prepare you for the unevenness in picture quality, there's actually a warning at the start of the main feature regarding this varying image quality due to poor source material.

The film runs 101 minutes and is uncut, but is missing the closing credits. You may choose to view the film with English subtitles. Audio is DD 2.0.

My major gripe about the DVD is that you cannot fast forward or skip through the FBI/Interpol warnings, two movie trailers and a couple of commercials that play automatically when you first play the disc. You'll lose maybe 8-10 minutes every time you insert this disc into your player.

Still, I've been waiting to own this title since... it first came out in theaters in 1980 (Wow, tanda!  Grin), so ok lang.

To purchase this film in the Philippines, call Regal Films at 63-2-9100501.

Smiley

kaya ayun, lumaki akong naging tagahanga ng regal films at regal babies Grin
