I've read that this movie is one of the best movies out there. As a collector of classics. I'm looking for this. I'm hoping Cebu will be selling Criterion editions which I have never seen here.

Most of Criterion's licenses covers only R1 countries.  Note that Criterion doesn't own the films they releases, they just bought a license and repackage/remaster them.  So it's highly unlikely you'd find a local Criterion release. 

Even if it's get released here, it won't be the Criterion version.  Since you don't buy online, you are out of luck.  Buying online (especially via sellers here from PinoyDVD) is mostly hassle free, so why not?  Of course, buying imported DVD (especially new and sealed) is kinda expensive, but once in a while you can find bargains, especially if the seller just wants to get rid of his stuffs...
