Does anyone know if a Blu-ray 3D movie running on popcorn hour would work on a Samusng 3D tv? I plan to buy a Popcorn Hour HD player but I want to know first if the 3D movies I would put there would work on my Samsung 3D tv.

Thanks for any answer.

3D blu ray disc will only play on 3D BD players. But Samsung 3D bluray TVs are said to work only on Samsung 3D players. I don't think Popcorn Blu ray players are 3D capable.

you can mix and match ang different brand and di lang puwedeng pagpalitin ay yong gamit na 3D glasses and 3D transmitter na gamit nyo like if samsung 3D player dapat samsung 3D glasses. Electronic manufacturer recommend to use the same TV and player para mas kikita sila and ang sabi nila mas compatible pag same brand. Other sync functions like the remote can be easily program too.

I think the TS refers to those ripped 3D movies that are readily available for download thru torrent sites. Syabas just recently released a firmware for the Popcorn hour C-200 w/c allows you to play these files and display them using hdmi 1.4 3d TVs.

Release note says:
". . . 3D output to HDMI 3D TV for Stereoscopic 3D (side-by-side, Top-and-bottom) file
    - Files must be named with ".3DSBS.*", ".3DTAB.*" accordingly
    - Tested with MKV, AVI, TS (MPEG) "

Take note tho' that side-by-side or top-and-bottom files do not give you a full HD 3D movie. AFAIK, blu-ray 3D disc and separate left and right files(.mkv) are the only formats w/c supports true 1080p 3D.
