However, After I watched the whole series on our VCD player, American Pie 1, 2, and 3 are great but 4, 5, 6, 7, are a major turnoff. In fact it doesn't look like an American Pie movie but an adult film made it on to the big screen. Especially "The book of love", and it's painful to watch...you will not laugh at all and sometimes It can be offensive like: The girls are running outside naked.  |

I think Universal actually anticipated potential real sequels, which is why the direct to video features are called "American Pie PRESENTS: (Title)" instead of "American Pie: (Title)."
