It's a banner week for Laurice Guillen/Pinoy ensemble cast fans.

American Adobo was released on DVD by First Look Entertainment in the US, while here in Manila, Tanging Yaman has just been released by Star Cinema/Star Records.

You know, when you look at this film's official web site,you realize that this DVD would have been much nicer if they had incorporated sections of the site onto the disc, like the Cast/Filmmaker List, Photo Gallery and List of Awards.

it was an awesome movie, but the vcd is ok na sa akin kung ang dvd quality is still NOT good.

You know, I was looking at that list, and it makes no sense. It says "winner" in every section, tapos underneath, it says "nominee". Which is which?

I don't you'd enjoy either film like you did Dekada '70 though, TOTI. They're both total chick flicks... so talagang good shot ka kay wifey...

You know it.... Let me see, I got her 3 pinoy dvd, that equals to 9 dvd's from BestBuy for me.
Then later tonight, yoong aking "Tanging Yaman" naman ang ipapalabas ko sa kanya...

We just bought and watched this DVD and the 5.1 audio track goes out of sync in the middle of the movie! Is this true for all the DVDs of this movie or yung sa amin lang?

Although, it's been a long time.  Posting for reference.  Yes the 5.1 tracks goes out of sync a little past halfway...

Good movie except that I didn't like the underwater scene...

As much as this movie is highly rated, I haven't watched it until now....
