Ok heres what. Christmas is coming and my Dad is very big fan of some classic war films. I want to have a surprise gift for him/ A bundle or selection of war films. And the problem is that I only have few known top rated films in mind and that is really ( i mean really ) recommended. Im planing to buy these Blu-Rays next month and I'm thinking you guys are one of those war film fanatics. Here are my list. I researched it from rottentomatoes to imdb. And I saw all of these. And superbly awesome. Its a masterpiece.

The Last of the Mohicans
Apocalypse Now (the best Vietnam film ever )
Ran
Saving Private Ryan
Henry V
Glory
Platoon

If you have in mind. Please let me know. Thanks

i'll give credit to braveheart. dahil sa movie na yon, halos lahat ng ibang sumunod may "madramang" inspirational speech sa battleground before engaging the enemy.  Grin

My suggestion is Waterloo. I just don't know if this is now available in Bluray. Other titles I highly recommend are: Gengkis Khan, Benhur, 300 Spartans  Grin

Oh thanks for all the suggestions. But hes not that kinda of a myth war / science fictions epic film fan, ( if he just know how epic LOTR trilogy was ). Hes like more into vietnam / world war 2 films and some advance military films. @ Dan you have nice suggestions. I might get

The Bridge on the River Kwai
The Thin Red Line
The Great Escape
A Bridge Too Far

and oh before I foget I might also get TORA TORA!

But When I let him watch the Pacific series. He was like " The movie is soo messed up" He is a huge fan of the Brand of Brothers series though he felt that its not that just the same as how BoB was. He is such a spoiled critic. It is a little bit annoying though. lol. BTW THANKS!!
