Anyone owns here a Samsung Blu-Ray Remote Control AK59-00104R or a Samsung BD player such as BD-C5500, BD-C5900, BD-C6500, BD-C6800, BD-C6900, BD-C7900 with RC AK59-00104R

May I have the chance to borrow it (in your place) as I just need to unlock my Samsung BD-D5100 BD player to be region-free DVD player. Papamiryenda na lang ako please please please  Cheesy

FYI Samsung BD-D5100 DVD region code can now be unlock using Remote Control AK59-00104R:

Apparently any Samsung remote with REPEAT button should work. Even the programmable Logitech Harmony can do the job (just program it using other Samsung BD player).

cool, pero yung pag open nya is for dvd's lang po ba? e wala naman ako orig dvd, so ok lang pala kung ganun. lol

No luck for now, yung Samsung HTIB remote. hindi compatible.

wow! wala kang ginawang firmware update? baka yung remote ng htib yung nagpagana pero delayed lang!  Grin
although i have to say for some pinoy movies, mas ok pa rin i-play sa dvd player. ang panget ng movie nung sinubukan ko! na-emphasize yung grain sa edge ng mga mukha nila

good news guys! i managed to unlock my player making it region free (applicable to dvds only)..using the supplied remote control without the "repeat" button..just follow the steps below and use the "STOP" button instead of the repeat..i did the steps three times before it worked..now i can enjoy my region 1s..woot! sweet!

here's what i did:

1. Power ON. No disc.
2. Press REPEAT  button.
3. Press 7-6-8-8-4 (or your region code).
3. The current machines region code will display at the top left of the screen.
4. Press 9 to change to free region.

4- 76884
5- 53814
6- 24462
