I think so. Region A naman sa BD ang PS3 eh... pero ang DVD depende, kung US PS3, R1 only.

correct me if i'm wrong. blu-ray disc is region A on your ps3 the good news is you can buy bd disc region A at Astro Vision and Astro plus. or better yet buy your bd disc kay Revas9 and other Pdvd members here. Smiley

Region A ang bds ng Astrovision so it should not be a problem with your PS3 dahil parehas lang tayo with USA na Region A ang restriction. It's highly unlikely na may magbebenta locally ng Region B or C bds dito sa atin kasi alam naman nila na di ito compatible with bd players being sold in appliance centers and they don't want customers returning their items. Yun lang mahal pa rin ang Astrovision bds (by almost 50%) compared to what are being sold here at PDVD.

As said, you wouldn't have any problem with Bluray bought at Astrovision.  Or even bought in the PinoyDVD Marketplace, they usually indicate if it's any region other than A.

You would encounter problem only if you bought Bluray from non-Region A countries or websites, most of the time this is Amazon UK (their England website).   Most of the time, Amazon UK will indicate if the disc is Region-Free, if no indication, try reading the posted questions, if again, not one knows, then refrain from ordering.  Most of time Blurays from Warner UK and Universal UK are Region-Free.  Again, these refers to UK discs and Amazon UK.
