i found some blu rays at hong kong labled region 2A will it work  back here?

Pagkakaalam ko walang Region 2A.  Most likely Region A din yan since HK galing.

I agree. Blu-ray discs are classified as region A, B and C or even ABC while numerical designations are for DVDs; an alphanumeric code is not used in either formats

I'm guessing the "IIA" is the film's category or rating & not the Blu-ray region. Hong Kong films are classified using a rating system.

oh crappy your right. man. well my friend doesn't really know much about dvds.
Hong kong naman falls under region A, so iguess it safe with our players here
