Rex Navarrete Live on DVD

I saw one at the Filipino Fiesta a couple weeks ago and it's a Martin Nievera's Concert. I did not took a good look since Rex Navarrete was performing at the stage that time.

Rex Navarrete himself is coming up with a full length DVD of his cd trilogy as stated in his website.  I sent him an email last night and I'm pleasantly surprised that he even replied...and FAST!

He said that his DVD won't be ready until summer 2003.  It's a long wait but still...COOL!

I'm definitely buying this!

I don't know if these would be included in the DVD since no other details (other than the release will cover his CD trilogy) have been available.  But I sure hope so.

The DVD's not coming out yet anytime soon but the live taping/recording of Rex Navarrete's concert DVD is on October 5th in San Fransisco.

         The only thing worth mentioning first is the BIG ASS DVD TAPING on October 5th at SF State University’s McKenna Theater. There will be Two Shows at 3pm and 7pm. This is the very first DVD I have ever done in my career, so you can’t miss it. People are wondering if it will be all new stuff, so I can tell you all now that it will be the best of the three CD’s plus some newer material and whatever happens onstage. I’m working on the script right now, but if there are any favorite bits that you really want to see in it, better tell me now. Tickets for both shows are going fast, so go to my calendar page to see how you can get yours right away. I’d love to have as many SF Bay Area fans and friends to be on this thing. There will be hella cameras, so look your best. The show is titled, “HELLA PINOY”…so you’ll know what to expect from that. I’m hoping to have the final DVD edited and ready to buy online by mid December in time for Christmas, but don’t kill me if it takes awhile. I promise to put as much of the fun stuff and some behind the scenes of where I’ve been so far.

          In October, I’ll be jumping around California and finally making it back to Toronto bringing some laughs to our fellow Pinucks in the North. Then, I’m off to Manila again in November for a couple weeks of gigs. Then I’m gonna work my ass off to finish that DVD.
