Hi, guys!  I know most of the members here have experience buying from international sites like amazon.com, so I would like to have a bit of light shed. I plan on buying some DVDs with very "mature"  content from the web, I would like to know if my package would be confiscated by customs or something like that. Nakakahiya kasi at yari ako sa parents ko. Hehehe. Also, would the "discreet package" -like what is said on the site- or ANY stuff bought on-line would be directly & safely delivered to my home? Or my babayaran pa akong mga fees/taxes sa customs? |

i suggest you use johnny air cargo's (jac) service. what will happen is you buy from u.s. sites then have the discs shipped to jac's ny or nj office, then they will ship the said disc to you here in the philippines. rate is $6 per pound + $5 for handling (per delivery). you will have to enroll in any jac office here to get this pdvd privilege. its safer, and less hassle. but if you are going to order from sites outside of u.s. then you have no choice but to use out good old philpost. and tell you the truth the results varies from you are lucky and will only pay 40bucks for the releasing fee or meet an a-hole customs guy who will slap you with a humongous fee that you end up paying more than you bargained for. read through the jac thread and use their service, lots of happy and satisfied customers here.  |

Problem is if it's through Philpost, where if you'd get lucky and it was delivered straight to your home (but there's the possibility your parents will get and open it). Or you might have to pick it up at the post office, the package will be opened by the custom guy in front of you, where he might or might not confiscate the item (those mature items are illegal to bring in, are they?) or assess you the P35 fee or whatever he compute up.
My guess if it's from anywhere other than US, you'd better poff not getting them. As for JAC, others might have a better idea as I don't use that service...

Yikes! Huli ako nun! Hmmm. Bakit naman 'pag balik bayan boxes nakakadiretso sa bahay? If I got lucky and it was delivered straight to my home, mas maganda 'yun because dito sa bahay wala talagang paki alaman ng mga gamit. Hehe! Does any of you guys know the "My U.S. Mailbox" service? Does it still operate? Napakarisky naman mag-import ng adult DVDs.  I'll consider JAC na lang. Salamat po. |

Mga films from Vivid, Digital Playground, also japanese hardcore stuff and the likes. Hehehe. Meron akong nakikita na mga ganyan dito sa 'Pinas kaso mga p***ted nga lang. Gusto ko original para excellent 'yung picture at sound quality.  Hehehe! |
