anybody here collecting korean DVDs??

I started collecting after watching MY SASSY GIRL.. ngayon I have about 40 Korean DVDs. Latest na nabili ko is SUMMER SCENT box set, CRAZY FIRST LOVE, Memories of Murder LE.

I only own two Korean DVDs and they both suck.  Stay away from The Record and Ring Virus (both horror movies).

Saan ka bumibili ng Korean movies mo? Paborito ko kasi ang "Chunghyang". Iilan pa lang ang DVD ko. At gusto rin expand ang collection ko.

Yun mga ibang set na OOP na gusto ko ay sa ibang forum ko kinukuha.. (xtremeplace.com) trade ako sa kanila

hmmmm thanks.. try mo Wishing Stairs and Tale of 2 sisters pag mahilig ka sa Horror...  ito lang ang Korean Horror DVD ko..(Most of them is love story and action)... Actually Tsek ko muna yun review sa internet bago ako bumili at saka sa mga recommendation ng mga na me-meet ko sa ibang forum

Hi.  Good to see someone who likes Korean movies.  Most of the DVDs in my collection are korean as well but my list is small compared to the 40 that you have.  

My Sassy Girl is still my top favorite followed by Ditto, Il Mare, The Classic, My Tutor Friend, JSA ,etc.

I usually order from Yesasia.  Atlhough expensive, their service is top notch.  I recently pre ordered ..ING Limited Edition and expect to receive it next week.  I'm also thinking of getting the re-released Il Mare special edition.

Siguro matanong na din,  can anyone recommend Untold Scandal and Acacia?  Are they must haves for those who like Korean films?

I got the R3 2 disc version.  Here it is.  I also bought it from this same site at $26.

They do have the cheaper R3 Overseas version though which sells for $14.99.  I don't think it has the extras though.

wow good to see na meron din pla akong kasamang nag cocolect.. UNTOLD SCANDAL is also a must  kung mahilig ka sa korean movies.. get the LE before ma OOP ito.. .. ganda ng packaging .. first movie ito ni BAE YONG JUN..after doin so many TV series.

Of all korean I have, the best talaga ang Sassy Girl. kaya lang Directors Cut lang ang meron ako.. im looking for the Tin Edition pro ginto na siguro ang presyo nito...

yup the tin edition  is already OOP.. same with the 3 disc LE with OST.. kaya nga yun tin edition mala ginto ang presyo...  meron akong nakita na nagbebenta ng 3 disc LE with OST na used na sa isang site and it cost PhP3200...

By the way yun may mga THE CLASSIC na korean DVD.. yun war scence doon ay sa Pinas nag shooting.. mapapanood yun dun sa extra features niya.. yun mga extra na sundalo at mga crew ay nagtatagalog...

What are you waiting for? Go and watch na.  Watch the other romantic comedies first though.  Everything else pales in comparison after watching My Sassy Girl.  Maswerte nga tayo sa Pinas cause they can't release the Korean version in the US due to the upcoming  remake being done by Hollywood.

Kung onlince, I can only vouch for Yesasia since dung lang ako madalas mag order.  They have a large inventory of Korean/Japanese/ Chinese and even Western DVDs.  Pretty expensive ang price specially pag courier but I typically receive my order within 2-3 days.

Sir  kung meron man, go for korean edition... kasi yun iba is hongkong edition.. .. kasi yun hongkong edition kulang sa mga features minsan..

I also agree with optimusprime.  The Korean versions are the ones to get.  They are usually packed with the extras and the packaging is always nice.  Usually nga yung normal Korean edition is almost like a Limited Edition na.   MEdyo expensive lang nga.
