Get outta here!!

« Reply #990 on: Oct 22, 2005 at 01:01 AM »

just received my HOFD - China LE. it was magnificent!!

I thought you were not gonna buy this because of negative reviews?? Di ka rin nakapagpigil no?

I have a story to tell about this dvd that I got from buyoyo.com. I returned the 3 dvds via ems because they were horrible, full of scratches like they came out from a rental shop. They sent the replacements after more than a month via ordinary airmail and VOILA, there were still scratches though not as bad the first set.  Totally pissed and disappointed, they got the biggest hate email from me, asking if they were sight impaired  and understood every English word I said in my complaint. I even told about the friendly customer service of Amazon and HMV and theirs paled  in comparison..Alas, they never replied..  Grin

I think I am forever banned now at buyoyo haha!!

Well rest muna ako..I have been bleeding lately... The only imported dvds I will be getting for the last quarter of this year are the R4 Godfather, Toy Story and Titanic which I will lay my hands on around January 2006 pa..

the Ben-Hur Korean LE merely repackaged the r1 CE by putting it inside a very nice looking box & then add a poster.....BUT it costs about US$14 more plus the now prohibitive shipping rates that on-line korean stores charge their customers..... Smiley

IMO, the r1 CE of The Wizard of Oz is more collectible than the Korean LE coz it has 3 discs (korean has only 2) & w/ more freebies, but the pop-up box or slipcase of the r3 is kinda cute though..... Wink

the bottomline is, the Koreans are really good in packaging their LEs...... Cool

Hey Rphoenix! Welcome to pinoydvd. You're in for one hell of a ride here! Life-changing... Grin As for your queries, you can always ask some of the retailers here to order you the titles you're interested in. Try Artemis for the FF4 LE. And also check the DVD Marketplace...dami nagbebenta don. Again, welcome & enjoy! Grin
