That's exactly it! Region 3 comes in a sturdy box that holds 5 double Amaray-style cases and a booklet. The set should be available within the next 2 weeks.

Warner Philippines confirmed this release during the EB and they said it'll be out before Christmas. Expected retail is close to the Amazon published price, so I'm guessing about P3,200 (shades of Band of Brothers R3).

Warner Home Video confirmed that the Region 3 version of The Ultimate Matrix Collection will be released in the Philippines before Christmas... hopefully on the weekend of the 19th. This is a full import product and will be the same version that will be released in other Asian countries. Expected retail is in the P3,200++ range.
Pictures of the actual box will be available this weekend.

I was gonna say the same thing. PHP 4250 is ludicrous.
The Amazon price of the R1 only comes out to Php 3200 at a USD 1: PHP 57 conversion rate.

Follow-up: When I informed my favorite Astro branch this afternoon that this boxed set is only 3200 on R1, they called Warner and informed them of that price. They said they'll check. Warner just called them back. The price is now Php 3500. Maybe if more of you complain, they'll bring it even lower... |

Went to astro podium, the price tag is 4250, but when I verified it on the counter, the price has indeed dropped to 3500.
