with that price difference, i don't think the model plane is the only thing missing on the cheaper version. Maybe it's just barebones

i guess i'll just have to shell out HK$200 for the CE

I'm back here in Manila.  There's 2 version of Sky Captain in HK.  The Collector's Edition for $HK200 and the regular edition for $HK89.  The regular edition is just DVD5.  It's not as bad as I thought.  It doesn't have DTS and no bonus material.  The bitrate is pretty high, that's what I'm looking for.

To followup my post above ^

Damn, this sucks.  As it turns out, even though the DVD is 4.16 gig with a high bitrate, it DOESN'T HAVE 5.1 audio!  What a ripoff.  It only has AC3/2.  My computer confirmed it.  It's not a pirat*d version, it's a legit DVD.  I didn't think they make DVD these days that doesn't have 5.1 audio at least.

upinsmoke, i dont wanna say it but i'd like to quote The New Radicals.. oftentimes, you only get what you give.

i strongly recommend the HK CE of this title. got it on quite a high price when it was offered long time ago but it sure is worth it.

 Cool
