I just saw Nina Live concert dvd in Rockwell O store. dts sya according to the package details. i wonder kung talagang dts. maybe yun mga nakabili can attest to it. naka demo pa nga eh.

I cant find the DTS but the DD 5.1 is working. Video is comparable to a very good orig VCD but Im not sure if it was intentionally done because the interview portion was very clear and sharp. The audio is also very good and you have an option for 2 channels, 5.1 Dolby Digital, or videoke ( no vocal). There are several bonus features like interview, bonus video, discography, biography,photo gallery and videoke. I wont say its already a perfect OPM DVD but for 450 only I would say its a must buy.

I can't find the DTS also. The 2 channels sounds louder than the 5.1 Dolby Digital option ... haaaaay why put DTS when it's not ! It's not even in the set up options eh. I find the quality of the Video EXCELLENT na ... but then again, I am easier to please when it comes to the video quality. Basta kita na yung fine strands ng hair and walang malabo na part .... that's PERFECT for me na  Another great thing with this dvd is that they put subtitle options so that means you really can sing along with the artist  I think EVERY concert dvd SHOULD HAVE subtitles para yung mga frustrated singers, like me, can sing along with the artist |

No DTS track...DD5.1 is actually DD5.0 but this is still a great surround sound mix even without the LFE or .1 channel. Vocals are clearly focused on the center channel (easier to cancel the vocals when viewed in its karaoke function), with the accompanying music on the front channels and ambience in the surround channel. Best viewed in a 5.1 setup...IMHO this is already comparable to most R1 concert dvds.

There's an option on the setup menu to turn off the vocals. |

there is actually option dun sa recently purchase ko na Nina DVD. actually i played it pa using two different set-up and both my player and amps displayed DTS. will try again later and will post results.

Tried again last night and it does work. from Main Menu choose set-up Lyrics ON OFF Vocals ON OFF Dolby 5.1 w/ Vocals DTS 5.1 w/ Vocals What I did was choose Lyrics On and Vocals (DTS 5.1). Hope this helps. |
