these are definitely better art works than their r1 counterparts, but then again there's no box set for r2 & i have read somewhere that one or two of them have been cut or censored for the r2 release...... Cool

If that't the case them I will settle for the Region 1 boxset release of Batman Anthology.  I have a strong feeling that it will be like the Ultimate matrix boxset which is in digipak.  and the local release will be in amaray case and will be included in Podium sale just like Matrix. Smiley

Greetings from Dubai!

DVDs here (Middle East) are the same as DVDs in UK, regions 2 & 4 (PAL) din.

I bought SE DVDs Batman & Batman Returns there in Manila last Christmas. Then I bought the last two sequel SE DVDs here in Dubai two months ago. I did it out of curiosity lang. Just to see the difference, and the SE DVDs would be more cheaper at a later date.

Wanna know the difference besides the region numbers & TV system formats, Bros?

The special features of Region 2 & 4 have english subtitles, Region 3 DVD na binili ko dyan sa Manila, wala.

Amaray case lang  yung Batman 3 & 4 SE's na nabili ko, unlike the first two DVD's I bought in Manila. Pero kahapon lang, may box na each SE DVDs sa Virgin Megastore dito.

IMHO, what I bought was part of a SE boxset. Pinag-hiwa-hiwalay lang nila so that they can charge us poor Consumers an additional aed10-20 (Php140-280) more.

Pansinin nyo rin yung credits sa Batman Returns SE (back cover of DVD case), parang tama... ;-p

Just so you know... =)
