Mukhang pataaas ang price nyan sa trend ng mga R3 dito sa atin ah bakit kaya?

Hindi naman kaya bumabawi sila sa consumer sa laki ng binayaran sa tax dahil na rin sa mga delays. I Predict mahina ang magiging movement nyan eh halos pareho na sya ng price ng R1.

I noticed that all the slipcases that arrived look trampled.  Don't think there's a booklet or insert inside.

I also noticed that. Parang masyadong masikip yung shrink wrap, kaya napipi!

I also passed on this title.

Meron yatang mga taga Magnavision na lurker dito sa PinoyDVD. Palibhasa nabasa siguro nila na madaming nag aantay ng release na ito dito, nagsamantalang tinaasan ang presyo (to ridiculous levels).

I've just confirmed that there is no booklet inside the digipak.  So that's why the whole thing looks trampled, unlike the Hong Kong release where the slipcase and the digipak were perfectly shrinkwrapped.  Disappointing.

Saw this last night...really disappointing...appearance & price wise. Good thing I got the R1 of this...at a lower price pa than P1750. Total waste for those who waited for this.

What?  An R3 that is more expensive than an R1 but minus a booklet?  There really should be a consumer product watch column in popular magz and newspapers about what local DVDs to buy and what not.  So consumers who are not PDVD members can be guidied.  And distributors can learn from their stupidities.

lesson learned again.  I don't trust magna anymore if its paramount,dreamworks,universal release.  I'm very sure na it's not worth it.  If it's from magna.  Yung mga columbia tri-star lang ok.  pero pili parin.anyway you can tell naman if its imported columbia release.wala nga lang bar code even for superbit. pero it has better packaging. yung mga scanavo dvd cases.

I really don't see why Magnavision continues to charge more than the others.  Granted that they import the DVD's, but so do the others.  Come to think of it, they don't even exactly use good Amaray cases.  Case in point: the Indiana Jones box set.  What's worse is that they generally charge the consumer an arm and a leg for their products.  When their products go on sale, they're not even exactly cheap.  If anybody from Magnavision should ever read the comments in this thread, they should take a cue.

For P1700, you can already get an R1 from the marketplace. Better quality at a lower price.

That was what I had in mind.  Based on current dvd pricing by warner, I expected the price range to go as much as 1200, but for 1750 that's too much even for a special.
