Name of the store is (was?) Shop & Lift.  It's on the second floor, shoppesville side, very near the crs.  its basically a magazine store but they used to rent out videos too.  the dual dvd cases are sold for P50.

There is a store nearby that specializes in blank video media like VHS and CDs only.  They sell the "ala pirated style" cases for P20 each and comes in different colors.

Is Magazine Express still owned by TV/Movie writer Ricky Lee?
I'll try to go there later to check it out for my self.

After numerous acquisition of HK DVDs relased by Universe only recently I noticed that the DVD casing they have can accomodate two disc.

To those Shaolin Soccer (Universe release) DVD owners, Do you also have the same?

Good day,

Ey pioneer thanks for the info. Nagpunta na ako greenhills but the ones i got is not Alpha type dual keepcases, rather the amaray type yung manipis lang. I'm still searching for the thick one. The one's used by criterion 2 disc edition releases. Any help would be much appreciated.

thanks

if you still need dvd dual cases, there are tons of them in Shopwise Festival Mall (near the dvd's & vcd's for sale, 2nd floor). It looks like the one VIVA uses for their dvd's. It comes in black (viva pearl harbor) and transparent (viva braveheart).

May nagbebenta kaya ng first class dual Alpha case exactly like the ones used by The Others and Tron? I already saw the regular (looks pirate) case in virra, doesn't look good.Parang Viva.hehe.Or kahit na magandang single disc case, di masyado maganda kasi yong nasa Astro.

hey! i'm also looking for a place where i can get good dual-dvd cases... if anyone knows... share naman o!  Grin

BTW ... elf, keep trying the Astro branches... not too long ago (about three weeks ago yata) i was able to find a stash of ORIGINAL Amaray cases from Astro. it cost the same as this "regular ones" (anyone else notice that those cases have a peculiar smell?) so i bought more than i needed... it was the real deal ... it had the "A" symbol and everything. lucky find huh?

just thought it might help...

Hi guys,

Gong thru this thread, seems there's little luck getting good quality dual keepcases.  Hope I'm wrong.  I'm also on the lookout for high quality dual keep-cases.  In particular, I'm looking for the ones similar to the LOTR olive green keepcases.  They're not the regular dual cases that has the disc holder on opposite sides of the case but has a second discholder hinged at the center spine.  I know it's already difficult looking for regular ones, what more these special types.  Maybe some enterprising and jetsetting pinoydvd member can order in bulk overseas and sell them to us.

This is the very type of case that damaged my LOTR disc!!!!

Saw two types at Shoppewise Festival Mall Alabang.

One is clear and has holders on both sides when you open the case.

Another type is a black case but both holders are only on one side of the case .
