was really excited upon reading this post so i immediately made a reservation w/ astroPLUS SM City Cebu w/c was allocated 2 copies ......last sat. i went there to pick it up but was told that my reservation was cancelled since they're being pulled out daw to be sent back to manila.......on my insistence 1 of the sets was opened & tested, i was disappointed to find out that the disc inside is NOT the stage play BUT the movie starring Liam Neeson

Les Miserables Superbit - R3 is a major disaster. every detail and every text (except for chapter list) pertain to the musical and yet.. Liam Neeson film pala. weird.

sadly, i bought one..  the logo and names of the performers are included kasi.

can anyone be more careless? bakit di na-recall ang copies na to?

siguro, the question is... bakit hindi na-recall on time? i got my copy yesterday lang in Odyssey SM Mega cause im out of town the whole week and have failed to read any of the posts here..

I don't think they actually know what's in the package until a consumer buys one, watches it, is surprised, and then angrily returns it.

This is not the first time Columbia TriStar (Sony Pictures Entertainment) screwed up on a musical release. Their very first local VHS/VCD release of the NEW Jesus Christ Superstar (2001) had the new jacket and artwork, but actually contained the 1973 version of the film.

I was the angry consumer who brought that one to their attention.

agree with sir hemi... why wasn't it recalled on time?   in the first place, how can they make such an error??  and twice at that!   

i bought Les Miserables superbit thursday last week.  returned the dvd on saturday. the lady at the counter said the stocks were pulled out, friday.  that was the only time they found out about the error.  anyway, they are supposed to replace my copy with the correct version once the new stocks arrive.. which is probably in the next 2 weeks (daw)   .  hopefully, they make good on their word....

it's been more than 2 weeks and still no replacement in sight.  decided to refund my money. astrovision obliged so no harm done.  thanks for the great customer service, astrovision festival!

Napanood ko lang 'to sa VHS... Meron ba talaga sa DVD?  Hmmm... iwan tayo ng post dito... baka may updates.
