hey guys!

just wanna ask if the Monsters Inc. DVD R3 has the same features as the R1?
'coz i'm planning to buy the 2-DVD R3 set at 750. is it worth it?

I just played my region 1 copy and it freezes during the layer change at the 84:01 mark. Seems the problem is specific to the widescreen version of the film since the full screen one doesn't have a layer change. I have a Pioneer DLV-919 player.

The glitch exhaust portion of www.dvdfile.com has a thread devoted to this problem.

got my R1 copy last week and was only able to check it out the DVD last night...

Has anyone noticed that the Fullscreen version of the film seems to give more picture/detail at the top/bottom AND AT THE SIDES!?!

Seems like they just cut out the Standard format to make it a Widescreen format...  Huh

Finally got my R1 copy. Still enjoying it together with my 1-yr old daughter who laughs together with Boo. She also loved "For the Birds."

no audio commentary for the local R3 release. it has DTS instead.
