you guys see the behind the scenes of phantasm? They're really cheap ass sets and they had to throw the sphere baseball style to make it fly.:-) Don Coscarelli is a genius till you hear that the tall man is supposed to be an alien collecting slaves for his world. Hell would have been a better plot.
This is one of the movies I don't get tired of viewing again and again.

They even had angus scrimm say out his lines in a horror convention.Everyone was freaking out and clapping. Man, that must have been one hell of a trip, seeing the Tall Man.

actually, i havent ordered this one yet but still thinking. but from reviews/feedback, the plastic ball (according to collectors) looks cheap, fragile and not so elegantly made. a case of the complete opposite of more than meets the eye.. |
