same here, im also looking for the r3 alien quadrilogy. muntik na akong magpabili ng r1 eh ang mahal. ngayon ko lang kasi nalaman na may r3 version, sayang. anyway, pasabi na lang kung anong store pa merong stock? thanks!

Yup, this is the best r3 boxed set I have. Great packaging and all special features from the r1 are intact. Muntik na rin ako bumili ng r1 version noon. Anyways, you can try to look in astro festival mall. Almost every week ako nandodon pero mukhang inaalikabok na yung copy nila. Just beware of copies that don't have the booklet.

guys check nyo muna price ni cramps before getting the r3,his r1 is viewed once with complete inserts and limited edition trading cards. i think its cheeper than brand new r3 set.

Anyone else notice some distortion going on at about 1:35:28?  It's during some dialogue between Bishop (Lance Henriksen) and Ripley (Sigourney Weaver)?

i'm guessing you watched the restored cut of alien 3. the audio distortions are there because they put back restored footage not found on the theatrical release and the audio was either damaged or taken from when they were shooting the actual scene, not from a studio.

Nope.  I was referring to the Director's Cut of Aliens (the second film).

I just purchased my R3 Alien Quadrilogy at Robinsons Manila for the price of P2,800.00, and I can't believe the amazing special features offered by this format.  Sigourney Weaver is Tour de Force as well as the DVD.  Congratulations to all of us, who owned this nine disc quadrilogy box set.  It's really the best DVD so far.

I was able to buy one just this summer, during an Astro Glorietta sale. Not discounted though, at 2800 bucks. I was told that was one of the last copies from their supplier. Surprising na meron pa pala.
