I was supposed to get the giftset, pero when I saw the globe, I thought the extra 251 was not worth it....  Unless the DVD from the gift set is different with the 2disc set....
Anyone who can confirm this?

BTW, the 2disc set I got (P499) doesn't have a slipcase and an inlet...

the manufacturer should have created a package where the two sides of the snowglobe are visible. i find it tricky that only the front side can be seen thus people tend to make a judgment based only the front perspective before they can appreciate the totality of the whole thing.

imo, the globe is worth the price.

also, only the r1 release has the foil-type slip case.  Cool

I was able to take a close look at the sample snowglobe given to Astroplus Megamall two weeks and IMHO, I think that the sample is far better than the one in the gift sets.   Smiley

The flakes and the glitters settle properly at the bottom of the sample unlike the one in the gift sets wherein they stick to the inside wall division.  Also, the color and the print of the sample is far better than the actual product.  Still, I can't complain, with the price and the holographic foil box.   Smiley

sir duncan, just shake the globe and the glitters will stick out of the plastic. the snowglobe is plastic so the tendency for a stick-up is low compared to glass-made snowglobes. nice effect when you shake it.. especially after seeing the film.

hehehehe.

Actually, I did.  However, I noticed that there were a lot of stocks that had the glitter sticking to the inside wall even after you've shaked them hard enough.  I had to go through a whole lot of gift sets just to get the "clean" ones.  Hehe.   Smiley

you have to hold the snow globe with your hands and shake it i mean.... shaking the globe while still inside the box can only do so much.. based on experience, all the "unclean ones" would be "cleaned" after this procedure.

I also meant that I already took the globe out of the box, too.   Siguro, makapit lang talaga yung glittters sa globe ko.   Smiley

LOL!  Grin

Disney Auctions galing yung Stages of Pinocchio snowglobe, bro aldrin.  limited to 500. the price costed me lots of wooden arms and legs. hehehe.

lesson number 1: if a collector yearns for a better item, he/she must be willing to pay the price. lesson number 2: buy the dvd/item before supplies run out.
