Oops sorry...it's supposed to be DTS Demo Disc #4.  It has film clips from various DTS movies and concerts like The Haunting, Eagles Concert (Hotel california),  Saving Private Ryan, Antz, Dances with Wolves, etc.  As the title goes...for demo purposes of HT equipment.

Since we have quite a bit of variety in our collection, the most loved DVD's would be our daughter's Disney Collection. These are usually the ones that get watched over and over again (The best loved is a VCD of Sesame Street's "Monster Hits" which is permanently in our portable DVD and gets played practically the whole day!).

We also have "seasonal" favorites, which get seen a little more than the others at certain times such as Clueless, Bicentennial Man, The Freshman and The Sound of Music.

Actually, since we still have quite a bit of sealed DVD's, we should really get around to viewing them, but somehow, we don't get around to it. Sad

The Fight Club and The Godfather. I watch the Fight Club everytime I do my laundry, it makes doing the chore more interesting.  I've seen the Godfather countless times because it just keeps on getting better everytime i view it.

My Old Fifth Element
I bought it along with Executive Decisions, Stagate and Golden Eye.  I still remember when the first wave of DVD players arrived here in the philippines, I immediately bought My Pioneer DV 500 along with these 4 disc so they are the among oldest disc here in the philippines.
My fith element dvd was an exebition disc for me, and i then had just a 29 inch 4:3 tv so I usually used the fullscreen side. of the 3 Stargate and ang binitiwan ko kasi hindi Anamorphic ang video.
Golden Eye is a good demo disc back then because of its boomy bass comparable with The bass energy of The Professional kahit na 385 kbps lang and audio resolution niya. (448 kbps and standard ng Dolby Digital ngayn)

  • saving private ryan
  • eagles concert
  • barry manilow's concert
  • beegess concert
  • and those other dts or concert dvd we have!
  • oh, by the way, he enjoys watching cartoons too! hehe. they look so nice on our tv kasi.

and my favorite? i really don't know, i watch our dvd's over and over. but if i'm really bored i usually put pearl harbor and play the chapter where the japanese bombs the base. i also put planet of the apes and go to the chapter where the spaceship of mark wahlberg crashes. i really love the sound of them!

Viewing dvds over and over again is a sign that a DVD title is worth buying.  What is the replay value of your DVDs?  Pls. list here the DVDs that you have played or viewed the most no. of times.  Grin

Here are mine:

Gladiator - 2x

Bring it On - probably 50 times and counting. All the members of my family just can't get enough of it. Sobrang suilt talaga. The funny thing is, it's not even ours! I just borrowed it from acidburn!

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory - there's always a regular screening of this at our house. Somewhere between 20 and 30 viewings.

Nung bago pa lang DVD player ko, ang laman lagi ng DVD player ko:
+ The Matrix
+ Gladiator

+ Almost Famous Untitled
+ Monty Python and the Holy Grail
+ The Godfather 1 & 2
