Bagets 1 & 2: (NOW BOTH ON DVD!)

Bagets 2 was released on DVD in the Philippines today.

It's a 2-Disc set. The first disc is the movie alone. It's been remastered - it's not the version with color bleed that's on the VCD/frequently shown on Pinoy Box Office. The picture quality is a little faded with some dust artifacts now and then, but still quite good, considering how old the film is.

The second disc has the theatrical trailer, some music videos, and a retrospective documentary with most of the main cast (except JC Bonnin and the late Jon Jon Hernandez).

Php 375 at your favorite stores.

I just hope it's the complete version unlike sa VCD na daming cuts. Please let us all know. Thanks!

I'm not sure. I've never seen the movie in its entirety before, not in theaters, TV nor VCD.

Can you tell me what was cut? The film itself runs 2 hours and 9 minutes. Is your VCD's run time shorter than that?

I watched the Bagets 2 DVD last night. The DVD version is COMPLETE, as far as what I know. The VCD version has many cuts.

I just bought the bagets 2 DVD set and I'm just waiting for it to arrive. I'm especially curious to watch the documentary to see Cheska Inigo. I've watched her lately sa "Mga Anghel na Walang Langit" and I think she's just as cute as she was 20 years ago

I just watched the Bagets 2 DVD, and your'e right, they did cut out a lot of scenes in the earlier VCD release. In fact they deleted maybe 30 whole minutes from the middle of the movie! They also edited a few scenes.

There's a Bagets Reunion on Showbiz Stripped on GMA this Saturday, June 10th, at 11:00PM.

Listed participants are Aga Muhlach, Herbert Bautista, Francis Magalona, Eula Valdez, William Martinez, Yayo Aguila, Raymond Lauchengco, Ramon Christopher, Jobelle Salvador, JC Bonnin and Cheska Inigo.

I'm gonna burn this on DVD, change my "Bagets" DVD case to a double-disc, and make this Disc Two of my "Bagets" DVD - converting it to a " 2- Disc Special Edition."

that's okay, baka ipa-tape ko na lang. Napanood ko na yung 1st part, pero may 2nd part pa pala. Mas kumpleto pa yung reunion sa Showbiz Stripped kesa dun sa DVD. Nandun pati si Jobelle Salvador, akala ko sa US na siya nakatira ngayon. At may pic pa sila ni JC Bonnin sa London, ang taba na pala niya! Pero wala si Monette Rivera. Siya yung girlfriend ni William Martinez na swimmer sa Bagets 2.

Nandun pati si Jobelle Salvador, akala ko sa US na siya nakatira ngayon.

From Part 2, Jobelle is based in Japan with her new husband and baby, but came home specifically for the reunion/launch of the "Bagets Foundation." They also had video footage of JC Bonnin at his church, not just the still shot.

Mataba rin si Cheska, but she was concealing it well.

Kung gayon, I'm looking forward to watching part 2! Di ko akalaing magiging pari si JC Bonnin. Ang impression ko sa kaniya dati ay mayabang at maporma. I remember when he performed with his sister Mags sa "Penthouse Live" nung 1985, he started to sing "Sunglasses at Night", but he missed the intro! The next day yun ang pinag usapan namin sa school
