According to the girl at the Magna kiosk today, Madagascar will be delayed by two days, but should be available by Friday, November 11th... barring further complications.

Is this the DVD? Kasi when I asked Astro WalterMart and Glorietta, they said VCD's pa lang a mererelease sa Friday.

Madgascar released 11/11

Magnavision confirmed that Madagascar Region 3 will finally hit stores today, Friday, November 11, 4 days ahead of its Region 1 counterpart. The 1-disc release from Dreamworks mirrors the R1 version and includes the 3D animated short The Penguins in a Christmas Caper. SRP is Php895.

Dropped by SM Cubao's Video Bar at lunch time today ... no Madagascar DVDs, VCDs lang. No VCD/DVD of this title at Odyssey Gateway, either.

Oh yeah, forgot about Astro having (usually) first dibs    *sigh* no Astro branch in my neighborhood. Yet.

Does it really contain the Penguins Caper short? I didn't see it in the Special Features list of the DVD eh. Sayang. Madaling madali pa naman ako sana to buy this. But if wala yung Penguins Caper short, I'll opt for the R1. Reviews naman please from those who already bought this. Thanks!

Okay, I'll verify with them later (Saturday AM na pala). Magna saw the frontpage post yesterday and didn't comment on the Christmas Caper short so hopefully that means it's there.

Got my copy today but no Christmas Caper short unfortunately. Still, it's a nice package. My son can't wait to watch the film again, and from the few minutes that I previewed, it's a very good transfer.
