P1200 sya for the trilogy.  Although im not sure if this is the extended edition. Probably not.

You're right, it's not.  Smiley

The package looks nice, but did you guys pick it up? The one I examined had very soft cardboard on top. It practically felt like bond paper. Plus, we all know the risks of buying R3 C-Interactive releases as far as the discs are concerned.

Grin Grin Grin

What about the Trilogy Boxed set that is selling for P1200 lang?  Any feedback on this one?  If you think about it, P1200 diveded by 3, that makes P400 each DVD title.  Not bad already.  P1200 used to be the price of just one DVD when they started selling it.

Are the DVDs included in the pack R1s also?

thanks for the info.  Wink

I noticed that the ROTK DVD included in the set has a blue case, similar to the R1 widescreen seperately sold for 899.

I got a copy and it was disappointing.  The Fellowship and the two towers were both R3 versions.  Although the details such as features and everything are intact same with the R1.  All were the 2 disc version.  The ROTK was in R1 version so problem with that.  The most disappointing was the fellowship DVD which looked like it was a pirated copy.  The print on the DVD was glossy and everything, just like a pirated DVD.  Man!!!  The case also suck big time!!!  Daming lukot sa case.  Cheapo talaga!

The two towers was quite acceptable because the print on the DVD was similar quality to the ROTK DVD.  The case is also cheapo.

The good thing about them DVDs is that they alll include the inserts.

The "box" that was used to boxed them was also very disappointing.  Although it was not just made of bond paper, it was a little thicker than that hehehe.  Nonetheless it was useless as a box for the set.

The only thing great about the boxed set is the ROTK being R1 and in the original blue case.   Wink

Just came from Bangkok.

I got my brother all three LOTR EE sets for 475 baht each at the Duty Free video shop in the airport on the way home. The SRP is 699 baht so at 475 baht that translates to about P650.00 per 4 disc box set.

Not bad.

Yeah, but you cannot beat the price of this Thai R3 release.

How much would it cost you if you are to buy all the LOTR Extended Versions in R1? Maybe around Php7000.00 at least?

This Thai R3 is only around Php3000. If you are really not interested in the non-essentials, this Thai R3 is the way to go.

I dont know if the sale is still on, but I got my R1 LOTR EE Box set from Amazon recently for just a mere US$ 52.00. Thats about P2500 since the dollar is doing good these days.

amazon is cheaper. buth the good thing about dvdempire is you can reserve titles for a long time until you are ready to pay them (via credit card).

and the live person customer service chat is a real plus.

Sorry for the late reply sir viper_mla.  Yes, I was able to return it.  Natagalan na ako sa paghintay ng refund and decided to change it to other titles na lang.

thanks.  Wink

Agree po! The truth is, as long as I have an original copy, whether it is R1 or R3 versions, I still go to the practical side. Mas mahal po siya halos ng doble sa R1 iisa lang naman po ang laman at quality ng pictures at sounds...

Sa packaging texture lang maybe nagkaiba, pero on my opinion, I wouldn't pay double po if I am just after the texture of casings or box.

'Yung nga lang, wala pong map ang R3 release... But it doesn't matter really...

Opinion lang po...  Wink  Cheesy
