I went  to my DVD closet and checked Army of Darkness if it is THX and it is! I also have Dune R1 and  Dune (The extended version - R2) Now that I think is rare even in US standards (because it is not commercially available there!)

Since 'The Powerpuff Girls-Meet the Beat-Alls' have been recalled from the market because of being tainted by virus, than it could now be considered rare because it is OOP.

I don't think I really have a rare dvd in my collection.  I think the only one I can consider as such is Flash Gordon Smiley

I've got a lot of Simitar DVDs. I believe, they stopped manufacturing DVDs. So, my Godzilla and Old Jackie Chan and some B-movie DVDs can also be considered rare. Smiley

Thanks for the suggestion, Benny.

I'll also probably check out some Japanese online DVD retailers. A friend mentioned that they have a very good list of concert DVDs (with good packaging, to add).

Steam and Benny!

Wow! Big Joni Mitchell fan here. I own her "Painting With Words and Music" and its a must have for anyone who appreciates (1) good music, (2) creative and literate songwriting, (3) seeing a genius in her creative moments!

I do not have her "Shadows and Light" DVD although I own virtually all her albums since "Song to a Seagull".

The rare DVD I am proud to have is Christopher Nolan's "Following" which was the first film he did before the world realized his genius via "Memento".

Bought in London via a friend. Never left my shelf. Not even willing to let friends borrow it. The film is outstanding for me and should be interesting for anyone who has been stalked, or is stalking someone! I have been both at one point in my life.
