Finalize muna sa dvd cam .Hindi mabasa ng dvd rom ang unfinalized disc.Sa dvd player kung hindi puno yung dvd-rw hindi rin mabasa kung hindi finalize. From experience lang po ganun din nangyari sakin.

tska how to transfer Mini DVD files shot from the video cam to your computer which I plan to eventually burn into regular sized dvd's which are a lot more cost effective.

I just bought a Ritek DVD-RW at P80 from CD-R King, TDK is the same price.  P60 for the non-rewritable, at a price difference of P20, who would want to buy the one write dvd?

Anybody who has a first hand experience in transferring raw footage from a DVD handycam to their PC?

I just copy the whole file to my hard drive.   Upon transferring, several files will be transferred to the pc - IFO, BUP and MPEG.  Not sure about the first 2 files but I use the MPEG when I save the video to a standard DVD.

I also buy mini dvd at CD-rking - Ritek DVDRW.

May I ask what video cam you have?  I have the Sony DVD705.
