guys for manila-issued credit cards, how do you find out the exact amount that will be charged to you, let's say i buy from amazon and total cost was $100, how do i determine the exchange rate? or i will have to wait for my bank? do they charge relatively higher than the going rates? thanks in advance

when you pay using PAYPAL, before you check out there will be an exchange rate (usd - peso or other currency to peso) at the bottom just above the check out button.

Sorry for the late input, but yes, the Unionbank EON card will solve your PayPal needs.  When purchasing in Paypal, make sure your EON account has sufficient funds for the transaction.  When receiving payment via Paypal, be aware of the Paypal charges (1% yata?).

I have a Unionbank E-wallet VISA current account. I think it also works like the EON card but haven't tried using it online but based on the forums you can withdraw from Paypal using this. And it's a VISA card so I think pwede sa online purchases.

Guys Im not really familiar on using paypal. Yesterday I sign up my credit card w/ Paypal already. For example I'll buy something from EBAY mostly they accept Paypal, when I hit the "Buy It Now" button, will that be the time they'll ask for your Paypal details? or you have to logged in to the Paypal site again to do something?

One more thing like when you buy a  $20 item the one charge to your credit card, will there be an add-on amount for the Paypal service charges?

As I can recall, once you hit the BIN, it will redirect you to paypal and then sign in/enter your password. Paypal will then sent you e-mail for the payment confirmation.

For buyer, there's no service charge.  Mukhang seller lang ang may service charge.

I think the Bill me later works like this. The seller will send you the exact amount of the item then the buyer will send payment thru seller's email address. This happens when you negotiate for seller's final price or shipping cost still not fix that depends on item distination. I have done this several times and so far everything went smoothly.

pwede seguro ganun as per seller - buyer agreement to send you bill every installment date. Most seller kasi fully paid kasi before shipping...

Depende sa usapan niyo yun shipping. Sa eBay nakalagay sir kung free shipping or kung may additional pa sa shipping. Ginagawa ko pag madami items tapos isa lang seller pwede consolidate na yun shipping so you only pay for one.

Halos lahat tumatanggap ng paypal sir...

Hi, never used Paypal before just my normal credit card for online shopping. I know there are no charges for making online purchases but what about the currency conversion to Pesos. Do they use a higher rate or same lang as your local bank since yun credit card mo and naka-register sa Paypal account?

At Ebay checkout, just enter details for US shipping address.

@ebay you can have multiple addresses aside from your reg. add & paypal add, just choose which address you want to ship your items.

Thanks for the info. I just added my Parents US address...

Though i see some sellers na they only accept address of whats on Paypal which on my case cannot change to US kasi naka link yung CC ko...

Post message to the seller of your present location, that your pp is same add on you cc issued by local bank. anyway, item will not be shipped unless payment is cleared and credited to seller's acct.
