Me and my wife arrange ours as "him" and "her" in a wooden cabinet with rest of our movies on tape, and games discs. Although I occupy more of the space than her. Her lates buy was "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" which was released just this week.  Grin

Alphabetically. Para feeling nasa bookstore ako.   Kiss
Seriously, I tried rearranging them by color, studio, director, genre, packaging, etc. and ended up thinking how inadequate my collection is. Kakadepressing.  Cry Siguro pag madami na, I'll try again.

Grin

I arrange them according to my Favorites.  Yung mga hindi ko gusto (as in napilitan lang bilhin or given as a gift), i placed it sa likod ng mga favorite kong DVD kung saan di makikita.

That's the same way I arrange mine also.  First I group them according to packaging - snapper, keepcase & boxsets then I seperate the concerts from films and documuntaries and finally arrange them alphabetically.

I keep them all on a hanging bookshelf na pinagawa just for my DVD collection.

I arrange mine by importance Cheesy all my reference video (superbits) and audio (dts-es) epic type/ sequels (starwars, the mummy, jurassic park)  then the really cool action flix the matrix, terminator, die another day.. etc.  then all the way down to comedies.  Kinda weird how i arrange it, but... the more frequent I watch the DVD the higher it is up the rack. syempre mga reference discs ko  Grin

I arrange mine by movie classification (sci-fi, action, etc.).

I hate it when guests start to look at the DVDs then mess the arrangement up.

I've seen your collection Jay. I thought you arranged your dvds by leaving the most watched on the floor.  Wink

Like a lot of you here..I arrage it by Case..i.e. Keep Case or Snap Case...

Kaso my wife is a little obsie heheh..kaya she arranges it pa alphabetically..well..at least mas mabilis na pag hinahanap ko Smiley

I use 4 box-drawers yung semi-transparent na box from dimensione..used to be lalagyan ng damit ng baby ko..pero we were able to buy her a cabinet so lalagyan ko na ngayon ng DVD's

Peace  Cool

Alphabetiacally would be nice.  Pero siguro pag may one thousand na Grin.

In the meantime, i just segregate the animated titles into a dedicated shelf layer -  classifed into Disney and non-Disney (including snapper cased titles)

The other titles i arranged into snapper cased and amray cased titles.  Each classified into oldies and newbies(for want of better term),

Then i have a separate shelf layer just for Oscar winning films (wala pang one dozen ata).

Among the newbies i have a separate shelf space for action/fantasy/sci-fi and another for comedy/romance/drama/detective titles.
