This is indeed a REAL bad news for me also, as my package shipped at the same date as yours. I don't know if I should ask for a replacement right now since Amazon said "Delivery estimate:December 8, 2004 - December 21, 2004". Even if I do ask for a replacement, how do I go about it (process?, steps?, etc) ? Thanks

number1,  make sure you report the incident to amazon. the allotted time as per policy is shorter than the delivery estimate placed in your account. once emailed, Amazon would either opt  to send a replacement or ask you to wait a little more. Placing a free gift message always do magic for me.. starting with.. hope you receive this free gift...

email them, they would be happy to assist you. but be patient..  Cool

My order was shipped on November 16 via regular International Shipping. I got a parcel notice today but not from Araneta Center Cubao Post Office but from the QC Central Post Office near East Avenue. I plan to pick it up tomorrow.

I don't know if this is good news or bad news.  Sad

Well, turns out to be good news. Got my package yesterday. Did not pay anything, not even the P30 inspection fee!

The customs guy seemed kind. He pointed out that as long as the package is below $50 it's alright (meaning no fees).

By the way, this shipped via Royal Logistics. I'm just wondering why QC Post Offices still don't send it straight to me like the others.

As to Edgar's question, if it's the standard shipping, yes, there is no tracking no.

depends.. in my case, when the package is too big or heavy to be delivered, the mailman opts to leave it in the PO for claiming. this would ensure full protection and less liability for the PO in case of damage and lost..

He he well in my case, I guess, the weight of 1 DVD -- with no fancy box like Troy or anything -- inside Amazon's oversized box was too much to bear.   Smiley Huh

Good news! Good news! I already have my Seinfeld Seasons 1-2 & Season 3 box sets!! No taxes! Just paid the standard P30 fee at the Alabang PO. I am so happy!  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
Markings on the box show it was received by Pasay City Central PO on Dec. 6 and Alabang PO got it Dec. 10. It has a Royale Logistocs sticker also.
One thing though, the box was obviously opened (for inspection?). The side flap was forced open and a bit torn then was retaped using packing tape. Even if you peek inside though, wala ka ring makita masyado because of the bubble wrap. If I didn't know any better, I wouldn't think na Seinfeld Box sets ang laman ng box Grin

my order, shipped nov 11, just arrived. Via Royale Cargo Logistics too..  it was very much delayed..   Huh

congrats jeckjeck.. are you sure you have to pay P30.00 to claim your package?  is it common practice that PO collects P30.00 for storage or parcel fees for local mails? from experience, i was not yet billed for local mails/packages pick up.

is this a policy? anyone knows?

 Huh

All the notices I got from the P.O. have a stamp stating P30. Even before when I had to pick up stuff from the Makati PO. I think its standard.

My Spiderman 2 giftset was delivered yesterday straight to my home and I didn't pay anything, even the box is sealed  Smiley

It was shipped last Nov. 24 (US Time) and it took 18 days to delivered (thru Royale Logistics). This is my first time to use the International Standard Shipping from Amazon and I'm very happy of the result.   Grin

Thank you guys for your comments, I was convinced to use this kind of shipping method.  Smiley

They won't leave the package.  They will notify you later to claim the package from the Post Office.  Smiley
