Hi, I'm new here!

« on: Dec 14, 2006 at 01:54 PM »

I went to Astron Podium yesterday and inquired if they had HD DVD titles? The attendant gave me a blank stare, then proceeded to key in "HD", presumably sa DVD catalog nila, then sabi "sorry sir wala kaming stock non". I told her if they carried BR titles and just when she was about to key "blueray" again, I politely told her "thanks, hanap na lang ako sa iba" Huh

So any local stores that carry HD DVD titles? Grin

yep, there's one over at greenhills theater mall.. forgot the name of the store, but i do think it's infomax. it's on the 2nd floor, near one of the entrances.  they're selling quite a number of HD DVDs and Blu Ray titles.  the prices range from P1800-P2400. Undecided

Saw HD-DVD and Bluray titles on display in Spectra Glorietta Park Square 1. I guess, they're on sale because they're on the display window. Some titles I noticed are Eragon, Lethal Weapon & Crank.

Oops, you might have misquoted me. I don't think they are on "sale" as in discounted sale but "sale" as in they are being sold in Spectra. They are a few titles in the display window and I think they are being sold. Hope this helps. Smiley

I saw several HD-DVD and BD titles at Spectra last night. BD titles include Crank and The Prestige, while for HD-DVD, they have M.I.:3, The Sopranos, Constantine and Lethal Weapon 1 and 2, among others. I asked for the price range: 1700 and up for HD-DVD's ,and 1900 and up for BD's.

Thanks for clarifying that the HD discs are "for sale" rather than "on sale".

Share ko lang, dito sa U.S. (I'm in San Jose, CA Area) noticed that HD-DVD are more popular than Blue-ray same thing with the X-Box360 & Wii they are popular than PS3. First they have a lot of titles for both Movie & Games and much cheaper.

HD-DVD are ranging from US$10 - 29 while Blue Ray Ranging from US$ 19 - 39. Ofcourse comparing to Philippine price dami mura dito when I visited "Frys Electronics" Grabeh!!!! Di ko alam kung papano ko iuuwi collection ko! Super Tax sa Airport, pangit naman pag-iwan ko Box
