What software rips the audio from DVD short of using a sound capture (which will have to done in realtime)?  Anyone know what's the best software to do this, preferably freeware.

I want to copy sections of a Documentary DVD (no encryption) to mp3 for listening / review while on the go on my ipod...

Or any trialware that does not limit you to '3 minutes' during the trial period.

Thanks for reading...  a bigger thanks if you can help me...

Thanks for the link.  It was a big help.   Now I can listen to it 'on the go...'

Used SmartRipper then BeSweet.  BeSweet takes a bit of fiddling, but nothing that a techie can't figure out Wink

Thanks and a Merry Christmas!
