Amazon.com currently has an HD DVD/Blu-ray sale, with titles ranging in price from $16.99-21.99.

Not a bad deal, it might be a way to jump start your new collections.

That's strange, not sure if it's a new regulation. Previously all my shiping orders used Phil address & payment wise all phil credit cards.

what shipping method do you guys use?

mine, got mailbox in U.S, U.K. and Dubai as physical addresses assigned by my courier and they take charge the processing and handling for a minimal charge /kilo delivered to my location.

Yeah, can't avoid those "negotiated fee imposed" in certain areas thus to avoid them I stopped using my Phil address. Instead I'm now using JAC.

Hi guys, im a new member here.
I understand what you mean pchin, i recently ordered a package from amazon, it ended up in manila central P.O. and i had to pay some grease money to get it out.
Anyway, i was wondering what you mean by JAC? I'm hesitant to order from amazon again after that experience, so if there's a way to totally avoid passing through the P.O. and getting it straight to my home, mas maganda.

Actually in my past bad experiences it was in Manila central P.O. 

JAC is Johnny Air Cargo. Either you pick it up or they can do delivery to your home at an extra cost.

u are missing hte title, it says june 2007, i think its end of september now if my memory serves me right 

where u guys buy ur HD titles from? i only buy from amazon wen they have sales, for new titles i get itfrom some where else, as they ship much earlier than the release date

hi pchin. how does one become eligible for the 10% promo?

The promo ended na last year Dec. I can't recall the exact mechanics. If not mistaken, you got to buy a min 3 HD DVD/BD tittles to qualify for the 10% promo.

In my case, I bought the Tosh Player HD-A2 & 3 HD DVD tittles.

That's great prices. Hopefully in future, Amazon will have a sale again similar to the recent one "Buy 3 for the price of 2" which lasted for a day...too bad some us didn't manage to buy a lot as we didn't expect it to expire so soon...

actually it lasted about 2-3days but amazon only advertised it for about a day and a half

i didnt buy any durin gtat promo, cos none of the shows i wanted, and those i wanted, i aredi have, it would be buying for the sake of discount, then it would make me feel lika my wife  so i din buy
