Tell me pls,if Magnavision release the dvd of TransFormers:ROF on Monday they will have a Region or something like u know...because when i buy the dvd of TF:ROF single disc hindi sya gumagana sa dvd player sa Computer ko sya na papagana.Pls. tell me if they released meron ba silang Region 4 sa dvd ng TF:ROF kasi Region 1 ung nabili ko,sa SM BACOOR nd sya nga nasa dvd player sa computer sya nagana...kasi im planning to buy a 2 Disc Special Edition ng TF:ROF sa November 9.Dpat tlga Bumblebee Case ung Bibilhin ko kaso nd daw mgnda ung BB Case so i decide to buy the 2 Disc Special Edition.

Seriously, did you even read through this thread before asking that question? The issue of region coding on this release has been answered repeatedly several times already:

For those concerned with Region Codes, please note:

The 1-Disc and 2-Disc keepcase with slipcase versions are marked R1.

The Bumblebee and Steelbook editions are marked R3.

And... you're looking for a Region 4 release?? If that's really the case, then you'll probably need to buy it from an Australian or South American source.

Is the quality that bad? Can the build quality be judged on, via photos?

Yes and no. To be honest, the build quality is actually quite good (then again, I haven't physically held it in my hands--just the sealed case). From what I see it's the paint job that may turn off some people. It doesn't bother me and if it were cheaper I'd get it. But economic times dictate I save money so I got the 2-disc R1 edition instead. Besides, the Bumblebee case has the R3 version so...

Paint job is really bad.  6ft away (on the store's shelves) ang ganda niya.  Nung hinawakan ko na for a closer look.  My initial reaction was.  %&&^$ !!! ang pangit naman ng painting!  Angry Angry Lagpas lagpasan, parang 2yrs old pinag paint.  Ni hindi ko siya papatulan at half the price.   Angry Angry

Well, it was probably made in some sweatshop in China so chances are very high a child actually painted it.

Especially the head part. It's obvious that the eyes are supposed to have a "glow" effect to them pero it wasn't done quite right.

Your copy is R3. To my knowledge, all of the 2-discs out right now is R1.

I bought the Transformers Steelbook since I was collecting all the locally released steelbooks (WAS because I disliked the plain white cover of Star Trek and bought the replica LE instead).

I was tempted to buy the Bumblebee version too since I have the 'transforming' set of the first movie but decided against it.  I thought the money could be better used elsewhere.  I kicked the habit of collecting multiple versions of the same movie sometime ago. Smiley

I didn't really looked at the 1 and 2 discs version until yesterday.  The embrossed metallic case looks great, and both look better than the pricey Steelbook and Bumblebee versions.  The fact that's its R1 is a bonus.  The artwork of the 1-disc version (with the full robot) looks nicer than the 2-discs version (with the Transformer head artwork).  Actually, it looked so nice that I am tempted to double dip... if the movie was as good as the first one, I probably  would have succumbed to my old habit. But luckily, it isn't and my wallet won out. Smiley
