I saw the P895 2-disc Transformers R3 yesterday. The label image and DVD case is the same as the R1's. Has it been like that before?

if you mean the same as the r1 2-disc, then no.. the sleeve of the dvd case of the R3 2-disc was the same as the r1 single-disc.. ganito yung R3 2-disc edition sleeve..

Basta, the 2-disc R3 I saw has the same cover art (back and front) and case of that image you sent us over email. The one where Optimus is standing over Sam and Mikaela.

I think the new R3 2-disc packaging is something like this (image above), still with the transparent slipcase with the printed Transformers on the slipcase.

In the US (R1), the slipcase is cardboard yata and has the original R3 coverart on the slipcase.    The DVD case itself has the new R3 art.    (Image below).



Here, you will have top double dip to get both covers (or print it yourself )

The new stock of the 2 disc edition indeed already has the new cover (Shia and Megan under Optimus), and also black case. BUT - the '2 disc', 'mtrcb' and 'imported DVD' stickers were directly sticked on the sleeve and not on the dvd case

Last night I watched disc 2 of this, and though I love the action sequences in the movie, I found the movie-making process by Mr. Michael Bay a little bit overly emphasized in the bonus disc.

It's a little bit irritating to see all they've done for the explosions to happen, and now I see the point of the people who criticized the film before saying the film revolved around the action sequences and not the story-- evident in the bonus materials.

Michael Bay is one pompous son of a bitch in the bonus disc.

I still love the movie though but I don't think I'll watch disc 2 again.

For those looking for the transforming case version, they seem to be popping up again. I saw one in Odyssey V-Mall last week, and another one at Astrovision V-Mall today.

so basically magna just fooled some people into thinking the transforming cases were limited in the truest sense of the word, prompting others to hoard the item thinking they can sell it later at a jacked up price, only to flood the market with the same item months later? or is this a surplus of the items from abroad dahil di kinagat like here in the phils?

I think Magna just ordered more stocks after it realized there was a lot more demand to it than earlier thought.

Someone gave it to me as a late Christmas present; she bought it from Astro a few days ago. I checked the back, and it's the Hong Kong release by Deltamac.

All R3 Transforming DVD imported by Magnavision are from Deltamac.  Guess the RP market is too small to warrant a separate issue.

Originally planned to get an additional 'Transforming' version for collection purposes but decided against it and bought this instead...  I seldom buy movie related merchandise but couldn't resist it when I saw it at Toy Kingdom, and they were having a 10% off sale after Christmas...

It's better to buy the real toy than the transforming case, if your purpose of getting another copy is just to open and play with it.

Bakit? Lampas ba sa orihinal na P1750 ang presyo ng mga ito? Sa aking pagkakaalam, minsan kusang dinadagdagan ng isang kumpanya ang stock ng kahit limitadong produkto kapag may nakikitang demanda sa konsumo.

Di naman sa dini-dipensa ko ang Magnavision, pero kailangan ba natin masamain ang nangyari sa bawat aspeto nito? Kung konsumer ka, nasa-saiyo ang desisyon para bilhin ang isang produkto, limitado man ito o hindi, diba?
