Hi, I'm new here!

Hi all.  Arrived in the states last week and am amazed at the low prices for HD players.  Have a read from yahoo.  Am also pleasently shocked at the low prices for the HD LCD and plasma.  They are 50% cheaper than sets in the phillies with more bells and whistles.

Yes, in the USA HT is much much cheaper (or affordable) as compared to our local shops.

In worse situation where some obsolete models are dumped into the Phil (also in other Asia countries) & yet marked at a much higher price!!!  Angry One e.g. is the first gen BD player which is sold at 60k in our local AV shops!!  Shocked

not bringing any goodies back...I think....but we in the phillies are behind the curve in many ways.  Variety of what to buy is so limited and way over priced compared to the states.

no wonder yung ibang members based sa US pabago-bago ng mga gears. hehehe.

then they have pa the 90-day money back guarantee.  I think this is the best way to test your new equipment kung okey talaga.

having this kind of policy here in the country would be a long shot. wish ko lang!  Cheesy

Wow...a HD DVD player with TrueHD decorder at $150 mark??  Shocked

The HD war will rage on & getting more intense in months to come..... Hopefully we can some price drop or at least similar promo (buy 3 for the price of 2) in Amazon extended to more titles!! Smiley
