According to the slesman at Blockbuster here in the states Blue Ray is wining the war.  Most movies studios are producing there discs in Blueray format and HD is falling by the wasteside.  He said HD will be the betamax of the future.

He seemed to know his sh_t!

Too early to say with only 2% of the total HT market,  I just read an article that says todate, the total sales of both formats just equaled the total sales of the VHS worldwide.  Give it another 2-3 years.
