is it possible to convert its sound to ac3 and burn it to dvd-rom so that i can watch it on a 5.1 sound system?

Yes, but it depends on the original encoder, if it's a downloaded file.

I was able to convert The Promise and Ratatouille to DD-EX.

These files are normally in the 1.5Gigs.

Files in the 700mbs, usually are converted back to Dolby Pro Logic 2.

There are a lot of software available, most are one click idiot friendly.

yep. it's downloaded and its 700mb. i've checked its audio format and it's mpeg layer-3.

do u know a specific software that can convert the audio to ac3 format? so that if i burn it to dvd-rom, it has a dd audio.

well, i have some softwares, ac3 filter and avi to ac3... also nero vision... i just can't get it to work...  Huh

Here is what I have been using for the longest time to convert xvids & x264 to DVDs

I used dvd lab pro to author the DVDs.


MP3 to ac3, but IMO why bother when you can just your receiver's Pro logic II plus it ain't gonna be as good as the real deal.
