Here's a short list of online stores where Filipino DVDs are available:

Philippine Cinema DVDs

OPM Karaoke DVDs
If I've missed any other site, feel free to add. Smiley

Is American Adobo coming out on DVD?

Pls specify if available locally or just thru foreign DVD online stores.  Is there a pinoy online DVD store in the philippines?  Like video city?  Do they have a website?

Yes "Hubog" is available (online & off-the-rack) on DVD but "Syota ng Bayan' & "American Adobo" aren't yet.  Please refer to our 'Complete List Of Pinoy Movies on DVD' thread for an updated listing of Pinoy DVD titles currently available.

AstroVision is one major video chain which carries Tagalog DVDs locally.  Unfortunately, they haven't set-up an online store of their own yet.  Do note however that this thread lists most (if not all) the e-stores that carries a number of Pinoy DVDs in their catalog.

Please be guided accordingly. Smiley

I'm lucky to have a Filipino store that sells pinoy dvds in our area here in California. The online retailers may post a cheaper price but after paying for shipping, the local store price is actually less expensive.

Hi all!

Great to be part of this forum.  Great to be part of a Pinoy community and share the same interests.  Love DVDs.  Love collecting and watching.  What I don't really like is the cost incurred as a result of all these collecting and buying.  Thing is, it's not only the DVDs that are attributing to the expense, it's also the cost of the equipment.  Even if I usually go for the budget setups (ie. reasonably priced equipment), they still add up in costs.

Anyway, speaking of costs.  Any of the online etailers ship Pinoy DVDs to Australia?  If so, which ones are recommended?  Would anyone know if there is an online vendor here in Aus?  Doubt it though.

Thanks all.  Smiley

Mahilig sa Pinoy movies yoong wife ko, so I ordered dvd's from Regal Films and Viva Films USA   (I think they're both based in CA.)  My big complaint is... Masyadong mabagal mag-ship, you send them an email but you won't get any response at all. Tried calling them but nobody can give you a direct and honest answer on the status of your order. I was finally able to speak to a manager and was told the the order shipped on such and such date but can't give me a tracking number. Then when the dvd's arrived, it was postmarked 3 to 4 days later than the date they supposedly shipped it...  Angry

Added www.pinoyopm.com and www.asian-dvds.com from our list above.

Funny, latter site listed Tagalog and Filipino as two separate categories.  Notice that the Pinoy DVDs listed in the said site has one and the same theme. Roll Eyes

Yup seeker, vivafilmsusa.com has been down for sometime already.  But if their notices in the past can be believed, they'll be back online.... just don't know when.

Yup it is out already, bardigones.  But at the time  the reply was posted (2002) in this thread, there wasn't any news yet about its release.

Hope that explains it. Smiley
