Astroplus pulled out Battlestar Galactica titles for some reason. I was able to score a copy of season 3 last Sunday for 500 at Odyssey. You might want to check it out there.

Yeah the sales lady informed me that Magna is no longer the distributor of Universal DVD's.
That's it was all pulled out. The license to distribute Universal DVD's is now Viva's.

I saw Battlestar Galactica boxsets at Astroplus in SM Makati. I wonder who is the distributor now if Magna is not carrying them anymore.

Just went to Astro in SM Bacoor and saw BG S1 and S2 at 200 pesos each and S3 is tagged at 500.

Then the saleslady told me they also have the razor and 0.5 whatever seasons.....do i have to buy those in-betweens to understand the whole series?

I guess, this is a good buy its just that I don't want to jump into something that will only make me wonder what happened to this and to that after watching each season. needs advise folks and fast.

mujacko2002, this is easily one of the best sci-fi series I've ever seen, well worth the purchase. But the problem is, it looks like there is no intention on the local distributor's part to release the remaining seasons. It's been a while since they stopped coming out with them.

When did you see this? I;ve tried sourcing out sa mga video shops in northern QC pero wala na daw sila stocks. I got enticed to view this series because of the reviews of the members here. Thanks in advance.

I also saw this last weekend somewhere in Manila.  Better look around real soon, because since Viva is now the official distributor, this would probably one of those while-supply-last thing.  Actually, I refrained from posting, because it crossed my mind, that this could just be Astro selling off their remaining stocks (maybe without Viva's permission).  There are other series that are similarly discounted...

Last Saturday, February 27th. They're on a separate display table, which only contains three series: Battlestar Galactica, Las Vegas, and Monk.
