Buy those titles asap (Manila By Night, Karnal & Cain at Abel). I was able to buy Cain at Abel. Limited copies only. Even in Astro you can't find anymore.

Yup! I got it there dude! Thanks din kay Quasar for the help.  Grin

Since Sampaguita classics are slowly being released in DVD/VCD formats, i just hope they would also include "Cover Girls" (Amy Austria, Lorna T.) on their list.  Wink

Oro Plata Mata, complete with making of special features.

Cinema One aired before "Memories from the set of ORO PLATA MATA" but very short feature. Still worth watching as Peque Gallaga discussed how Negros people really helped in making the movie, plus the 3 main cast.....Cherie Gil, Joel Torre and Sandy Andolong. Production designer Don Escudero was also interviewed.

Although these films are said to be available on DVD, it is yet to see the light of day on the local market...

Regal Platinum Titles

Ina, Kapatid, Anak
Fatima Buen
Hahamakin Lahat
Laro sa Baga

Makati Ave - Office Girls ?? (Listed as available on the Manila By Night DVD, not available on the Cinefilipino website)

mag.net or unitel or regal should release these sought after titles. Immediately.

Crossing my fingers already. Anyway, two short questions, I always see the Himala print with the burnt-in Japanese and English subtitles. Are there any other prints of this movie that could be used for the DVD release? And two, is Kakabakabakaba? an ECP film?

By the way, since Joey Gosiengfiao passed away, how about a special commemorative release or something? I'm dying to see Temptation Island.

if im not mistaken, lvn ang nag-release ng kakaba-kaba ka ba. regal released a vcd version of temptation island a few years ago. i was able to buy a copy. there was even a misprint in the names of cast. they included al tantay's name even though he wasn't in the film.

sana nga i-release nila ito sa dvd with special features like interviews with the cast and crew. that would be fun. Smiley

Hey ciconeguy, im praying also, hehe. I wish they would tuck in the docu on ORO titled- Memories on the Set: with Joel Torre, Cherie Gil, Sandy Andolong, Peque and Don Escudero giving some insights from the film.

Nixenzo, that print is the most pristine copy of HIMALA that was also shown in Berlin Film Fest during the 80's.

Oh, it's an LVN movie. Hehe. Sorry. Wasn't even born in that era. Personally, I would like to see that interview when Dina said "Hindi ko alam kung anong ka-gagahan ang ginawa namin..." or something.  Grin So funny.

Really? I guess it wouldn't be so bad, besides, I heard that ABS-CBN is cleaning the print. I hope if that is true, it would be used for any future releases.

May I ask where you bought this, since it's a keeper I'd like to add to my collection.
Ditto.  Grin Grin Grin Is this the one?
