Was in Music One this afternoon and was surprised to see a lot of warner BDs Grin. Saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, 300, 10000 BC etc. may Ghostbusters na din though not sure if it's from warner. Price is Php1,550.00.

Just backread this thread. It's sad to know that Warner was planning to sell BDs at Php 800.00. Sayang. With the Php 1,550.00 mas mura pa umorder online if you'll be buying more than 2 Undecided.

Yup, Warner's back in the market and BD is a priority segment for them. We should see more catalog releases in the coming months as the format builds momentum.

During the Warner re-launch, I also voiced my concern about the relatively high price points of their releases, and the VP I spoke to said that he expected adjustments later this year or early 2010. At the very least, they are open to working with Magna and PinoyDVD in developing special promo programs to entice members to upgrade to HD.

as always sir thank you for looking after us and our concerns.  i for one was taken aback by the price points of several titles i was interested in.  led me just to order on line.  bundled w/ other titles, the R1's that i bought turned out to be cheaper even w/ shipping.

I think it's around Php 1550.

I have no idea. Dunno about MusicOne stores being bigger than Astro in general. One thing I've noticed though, is that MusicOne stores seem to be getting smaller. Take Greenbelt and Glorietta, for example.

Hello!

« Reply #108 on: Oct 19, 2009 at 02:33 PM »

hi,

has anyone bought BD from our local stores like music one, or astrovision..
Napansin ko lang when i checked the BD titles, some titles have cover na parang xerox copy lang?
Wala ata quality sa packaging? tama ba ako sa observations ko? thanks.

Yup hindi na nga natuloy ang 800 pesos BD movies. Sayang yung iba na block buster 1700 mas mura pa rin order sa online 1200 lang or less. Huh
